For years I had acute reactions to insect bites. It never left me. Mosquitoes love me, all kinds of insects. The symptoms were swelling. I could have a swollen eye when I got up in the morning. I'd get chtars, redness. It could be painful, because when it swelled, it was as if it was really inflamed. It wasn't easy. So either I had a cortisone cream at hand or I had to take some medication. I needed to take corticosteroids at one point, when it was completely swollen. Up until then, as far as I can remember, I've always had this type of reaction.
